Your Network Security

Understanding how people get into networks through viruses, trojans, breaches, etc. is an important part in your network security.  It is important to educate staff members about how viruses can impact the business’ network and the ways viruses can infiltrate a network.  Tech Republic posted an article concerning the Verizon Data Breach Report which discusses how easy data can be breached.

According to Tech Republic, “How are attackers gaining access? Of the 52% of breaches that involved some form of hacking, 80% involved guessing, cracking, or reusing valid credentials. The particular type of attack can vary depending on the size of the organization: smaller organizations tend to have more “brute force” attacks on authentication while larger organizations have more stolen credentials used against them.”
