When you discover a breach in security at your business, it is important to act as quickly as possible to ensure that you secure all of your data and wipe the virus from your network.  Tech Republic posted an article about data breaches which included an alarming statistic about how long it takes to detect one.

According to Tech Republic, “The majority of breaches (62%) take months (or even years!) to be discovered and it’s usually by someone outside the organization (nearly 70% of all breaches).”
