Your security is first and foremost when operating a business in today’s world. Recently there was an article posted by NBC News by Bob Sullivan who highlights a VoIP security breach that affects “Cisco’s popular Internet Protocol telephones”. According to Sullivan’s article “the hack, demonstrated for NBC News, allows the researchers to turn on a telephone’s microphone and listen in on conversations.” The article goes on to say that “a small device pre-loaded with software and plugged into a port on the Cisco phone” is what allows for this hack.
