Review your contracts

December is an excellent time to evaluate your IT needs for the coming year and review existing contracts.  Most companies have contracts for their server, anti-virus software, copier, internet, dial tone, and cell phones, but they aren’t sure when they expire or what options are available to them.

“Warranties may be expiring and contracts coming up for renewal,” said Eric Marcus, CEO of Marcus Networking.  “Instead of just letting them automatically renew, companies need to spend some time reviewing and evaluating.  Our team can help with that process.  We’ll do all the research and provide clients with options for the New Year.  There could be a better plan or more cost effective solution available, but many companies aren’t willing to take the time to find out.  There’s where we come in and can make a significant impact.”

Marcus Networking also says the end of the year is a great time to reviewyour equipment.  Replace old laptops, wireless access points, battery back-ups, MS Office, VoIP phone systems, and servers before Dec. 31, 2013.  All of these products and services can improve workplace efficiency and save money in the long run.  Think ahead about what the New Year will bring and let us know if we can provide you with a free consultation to make sure your IT needs are being met.
