Scrapping Old Hardware

When it is time to upgrade your equipment and you are certain that you can no longer use the machines that you have and know that nobody will be able to use them, what do you do with them?  Do you throw them away?

Tech Republic recently posted an article discussing old equipment, one way is to scrap the old machines that you are getting rid of.  “Companies used to give away old equipment to recyclers. But in today’s lucrative scrap metal market, the goal instead should be to sell this equipment to scrappers.”

Not only are you recycling, but you are profiting from the old equipment that you were planning on throwing in the trash.
